Constructed lovingly stone by stone, this cabin tree house is surrounded by
sunshine-dappled woodland paths. Secluded, yet only 11 blocks from the center
of town, it is located on the first of
the Seven Sisters mountain range, Tomahawk Mountain.
Built as a honeymoon gift, Black Mountain Reverie is a tiny piece of
Black Mountain's history. It is a rustic cabin built by a wealthy Florida
tycoon for his Atlanta bride during the late 1930's.
The cabin can comfortably sleep 4. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed.
The upstairs sleeping loft has twin beds. The great room has a dining area
opposite the fire place. BMR is fully furnished with a galley kitchen. It has a great room with
vaulted ceilings, river stone fireplace, screened porch with view of woodlands
and mountains, outdoor hammock, portable gas grill, TV with CD / DVD / VCR players,
and
radio.
The cabin is smoke-free, and please, no pets. For additional
